Advent day 24 phew.....The Moot Hall

Christmas card showing The Moot Hall, Keswick
Well its Christmas Eve and now well into the evening with torrential rain pouring down, but I still have one last job to do.  I always decorate my mantlepiece above my wood burner with some greenery and lights so that's the last job.  All being well we will venture into the abysmal weather and go for a drink in an old coaching inn with friends.  At least that is the plan at the moment.

I hope you all have a peaceful and prosperous Christmas with loved ones around you wherever you are in the world.

If ever you fancy seeing the above building it lies in the middle of our dear little town's Market Square and was built by German miners in the reign of Queen Elizabeth the first.

----and the clock has only ever had one pointer!
It is funny how if you are used to it you don't notice it but the visitors aways do.

Hope you enjoy your evening :o)
