Quilt progress

Today was designated a holiday and one of the best days for doing work on the garden and greenhouse, so I was occupied most of the day. I took half an hour out after lunch to sneak some time making patches for my 'scrappy quilt'. I laid the semi finished quilt top on my sofa to take a look at it and then went off to do some more gardening. When I returned this little brown bottom had snuggled down onto it. Aha, I thought so she likes this one does she? There is nothing like praise from one's admirers.

the quilt looks lovely! Don't you think they always look at their best when adorned by a snoozing furry?

Nearly every quilter who blogs about their creations has at some point posted a photo of their quilts being snoozed on, most have cats but now and then a pooch is shown. I think we would have enough photos between us to start a flikr group of all those happy furries!

Oh my, don't we just look all comfortable and snuggled up there? Do you think she is trying to bury her nose in the hopes that if she cannot see you then YOU cannot see her?

Probably; she also does not like her photo taken, so I had to be very careful. She does tuck her tail over her nose to let me know when it's cold.
